I intend fitting a holding tank to my 1989 Sunrise 35. I am sailing to the Med. next year so will be both off-shore and in Marinas (requiring a pump out deck fitting) so need the option of diverting to tank or existing through hull fitting. Any tips as to where to fit the tank and possible suppliers in the UK would be much appreciated.

www.jeanneau-owners.com/hintsandtips/holdingtankreplacement.html gives an option Jeanneau now use plastic tanks, which seem to have lasted OK Vetus make a range that should fit under the side deck The standard arrangement is not to use a three way diverter but to plumb the waste outlet so it always goes through the tank, avoids the complication and expense of a diverter and in practice works fine, but avoid 90 deg bends and best to use a bio-degradable tissue to avoid blockage risks Malcolm
