Hello: I own a sun odyssey 52.2, which used the aquasignal overhead lamps. Recently I designed a replacement pure white 6000k 100 lumen circular led assembly of 9 SMD leds, which is much brighter and uses much less power than the standard 5w lamps used in the aquasignal units. These units are much cheaper than anything else on the market. Constant current design means that the light output does not vary from 9-24 volts. I also have G4 lamps which are used in the long overhead fixtures as well as rigid wire 44mm led assemblies. If your interested E-mail me at tpcook"at"videoautomation.com Webcrew edit: replace the "at" in above email with @see: jeanneau.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=terms&action=display&thread=1322

Is this the same tpcook that I know from the BVI's?
I am looking into putting together some dimmable LED systems for my boat - using my own buck convert constant-current drivers and PWM dimmers and avoiding thecommonly used resistors that just drain power and create heat.
