During frequent anchoring at clay grounds in Sweden I had to clean anchor equipment and deck by hand, being a time consuming job. So I am thinking about installing a deck washing pump. But I doubt about the place to install it (close to the achor or close to the battery? and if I should make a through hull inlet or that there are other solutions. And which type of pump gives good pressure? And what about lengts of the hoses? Has anyone experience with it and can tell me do's and dont's?

When our boat arrives I'll be installing a deck wash pump so I'll be able to post some pix or provide some info at that time.
I plan for ours to be mounted up forward and to draw it's water from a T fitting in the inlet hose for the forward head. If there is room under the sink I may put it there, otherwise probably under the V berth.
More to follow....
