I have a 4 year old SO39. Recently replaced the engine start battery and now the bow thruster battery does not seem to be holding charge. I thiught it was just a matter of getting a new battery. However last weekend there seemed to be a bigger issue. All battery isolators were turned on. When I turned off the engine isolator switch the battery monitor alarm sounded and the display showed no charge in the domestic bank. In addition the switch was not working - i.e. would not allow me to switch beteen batttery/water/fuel display. I turned off the main isolator and when I turned it back on everything worked ok. This happened three or four times but not every time I "tested it". Now I am worried that I have a problem with the charging system Does anyone have any comments or suggestions

What battery monitor do you have? Or do you mean the default Jeanneau one on the panel? The pots tend to oxidize over time, just rotating the pot between the detents several times (just rotate from full left to full right for about a minute) should get both the battery monitor selector as well as the battery charge selector working again - if that is your problem.

I have the default Jeanneau one. I won't be on the boat for about 4 weeks and will then try your suggestion.
