Hi All We are competing in the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race Starting at 11.00 local time(GMT+10) on good Friday. There are 2 other Jeanneau yachts in the race, a SO49i and a new 54ds. There should be a yacht tracker for the race at brisbanetogladstone.com.au/Home.aspxThis race is a 306 Mile downwind coastal race so it should be fun. Barry (Bad Habits SO36i)

We had a great time in the race although our result was not so good. A boat we normally sail very close to beat us by 4 hours and won our division. I think we needed to push the boat a bit harder for the whole race. The weather was good with winds between 10 and 25 knots from behind. The best bits we averaged 10 knots boat speed for about 1 hour at a time. There was some great surfing in approx 2m waves with a top speed of 16.7Knts. Over 10knots we have a noisy vibration in the rudder that gets very very loud at 16 knots. Does any body else get this?
