This is probably mostly for MartyB as he knows everything ;D I have a 2002 SO43DS - Gemini Daze Went racing yesterday and was T-boned by a Capri 22. No one hurt and no real major damage. Stanchions, toe rail and small superficial gel coat abrasion. Capri got the worst of it with a 1 ft sq hole in the bow and destroyed bow pulpit. Now for my dilemma. I have looked all through my paperwork which is quite extensive and cannot find any information about the toe rail, stanchions or stanchion deck brackets. I need to replace and prefer not to have them special built. The section of toe rail is between the aft and amidship starboard cleats. Need the two gate stanchions and the one just forward of the gate. Any ideas?? John Gemini Daze

Now I know why I like cruising rather than racing ;D ;D You should be able to get these parts shipped OK from France, I would start with a Jeanneau dealer like: www.marinesc.com/contactMalcolm

Hard to believe but I got a response back from Jeanneau America with price and availability on everything. Got it back in less than 1/2 hour Sometimes racing seems safer than being in the North Pacific!! Big Waves lots o wind. Besides not better way to hone some skills. After talking to the guy who Td me, he said he had his 150% Genoa out which wraps from bow to stern (more like 200) and he couldn't see a thing.... until he felt it. He said the sudden stop almost through him and his two crew over the bow. They are really lucky they were not hurt. That is what happens when a 4000lb boat goes up agains a 22000lb. Thanks for the feedback. John Gemini Daze

John
Too bad about the mishap. Altho if it was as sunny down in Portland as it was up here in Seattle, great day to be on the water. YC had a race on the sound, kids had a good time. I was up teaching ski lessons on Snoqualmie pass. Great day to be here in the NW.
You might also try the local dealer here in Seattle which is Marine Servicenter. Thinkng about this, you want to try the Anacortes yard, as that is where the dealer does the servicing and parts dept is located. Or possibly one of the dealers in Ca.

I'd like to echo Johns post regarding Jeanneau America and getting parts. I've been ordering OEM parts via Jeanneau America for many years and have had nothing but prompt reliable service. - James

I ordered replacement lifeline stanchions, filler cap keys, and filler caps last year via Navimo USA. They had to get them from Goiot in France (a division of Navimo), so it took a while. Their website indicates that they don't sell directly to the public, which is true for completed accessories like fenders, etc., but if you e-mail them, they will sell "pieces and parts" directly.

Really impressed - I called Jeanneau America yesterday to get some baskets for our boat, it was so easy! The looked my boat up and knew who I was. Great customer service.
