What is the origin of the 3 star logo used on this forum? img212.imageshack.us/img212/165/mainjontx0.jpg I just ordered a new main and the logo applied to the main is this 3 star logo not the single 8 point star that is normally associated with Jeanneau.

Hi James Your sailmaker has not done his research at all well The purple/white/black is the Owners Logo that is only on the main owners website and this forum. The sailmaker must have downloaded it without permission It is based on the Jeanneau One Design logo which had the French Tricolor flag colouring red white and blue see www.jod35.orgMost owners now use the standard single compass rose star in red or grey on recent models Malcolm

Then there are some crazies like me that choose a navy blue logo, as my boat is white with navy trim etc.
There is one other logo from before about 1985-1988 or there abouts, that has a motorboat and a sail on it. Otherwise, yes, most use the compase rose which came out when a companie before Group Beneteau owned Jeanneau.
