Well, I'm probably one of the last in this forum to still be in the year 2009, here on the left coast of North America. Oz had pics up at 8 am my time this morning, now it is 11:15pm, still about 40-45 min away.... SO how is 2010 coming along? better than 09? no I am not as one friend of mine says sometimes "DAK" ie drunk at keyboard! Actually, I have been up way too long today, probably more tired than awake. Hopefully this year will be better than last! Marty

To all,
Well the days are getting longer, which means in a few months the boats go back into the water, if you are located in North America.
Today it's only 20 degrees and the wind is blowing a constant 20 knots.
Happy New Year to you all and Happy Sailing

ummmmm..........
My boat has not been out of the water in oh about 2.5 yrs or so! Of course the when it is out of the water depends upon "WHERE" on NA you are. Those lucky ones on the central plains to upper right coast.........what can one say. You're SOL at this time of year. I was a hoping to get out today trying out the gooseneck repair, but no avail. Seem to have misplaced the sail stop. Oh well, off to WM tomorrow and use my WM bucks, and a couple of others. Maybe out next sunday before I do a skips meeting for local club.........
Maybe if things go well, I can get to Paris, or if better over the next two yrs, maybe spouse will let me have a 50th B-day party in Paris. And try out the French I flunked in High School!
