Hello all,
The 2004 SO35 that I purchased last March came without a cockpit table. This represents an unbearable situation for my wife who wants to do a fair bit of entertaining onboard.
The boat has a Goiot pedestal - the typical one for the boat, I think. I've attached a picture.
Can anyone let me know the brand/make of table that came with this boat (or one that would work), and where to find one?
I'm looking for a full, fold down table (ie. not the smaller luncheon size) in a poly (not wood) construction.
Thanks,
John

Hi John Goiot did produce there own poly material tables, but probably as you cannot now find it on their website As you may know the dealer in Canada is: www.precourt.cabut may also be worth contacting the UK agent: www.sanshin.co.ukas Kenneth gave me a quote for the same table a few years ago when I had a 34.2 with the same pedestal Malcolm

Hi, John! I'm not sure what brand/ type of table we've got, but attached is a picture (love this one - from my artistic sister-in-law and reminds me of waking up on the boat in the morning and coming out of the cabin I'd check but the boat is an hour away under winter cover under snow. I had a real pain in the a** getting cup holders, though. The setup here really stinks as the Gioit pedestal doesn't have any(?) vertical surfaces to attach one to. On another topic, ever order a new jib?

Thanks Renegade,
Yes, great picture - and yes, that's the table I'm looking for!
Please have a look at the make/model the next time you're on the boat, and let me know.
Yes, I did order the new North sails in November - a new 135% genoa, main and gennaker (which the boat didn't have). I went for their new Radian polyester sails - supposedly their performance cruising sails. Will see how they work out next summer....
We have more of a cruising bent. Our boat is at the bottom end of Georgian Bay, a ~100 nm sail to the North Channel. Beautiful stuff up there. We're planning to point Reverie north next summer and disappear for a few weeks.
Fun dreaming and scheming when it's 0 degrees and snowy outside!
Cheers,
John

John, This looks exactly like an Edson fold down table. Edson makes this table to either fit on a standard style pedestal guard or a console mount, it's available in teak or white poly.
This is the same table that I want to put on my 2007-36i Happy Sailing,

Many thanks, MKremedy.
I'll check out Edson's website. Perhaps also the same table that Renegade has...

John. My SO35, like yours, did not come with the OEM cockpit table. I contacted Jeanneau America and ordered one. It took 20 minutes to install. I got mine about a year and a half ago so it's likely you can still order one. This table is made by Jeanneau and is not the Edson Table, not to say that won't work.

Many thanks, James.
Are you pleased with your table? It's a poly table (not teak), right?
I'll be seeing the Jeanneau rep at the Toronto Boat Show on Wednesday, and will pursue this with him.
Cheers,
John

Yes. It is the poly table that you see in most photos of SO35s that have a cockpit table. And I'm very pleased with it. The quality is top notch. The only complaint I have is one I've seen before. The integrated cup holders have marginal usability, but I wouldn't buy a after market table because of it.

Perfect. Thanks, James. I'll pursue this with Jeanneau also. I can likely deal with the drink holder issue John
