Hi Everyone!
I'm planning to install AC on my 43DS.
One 16000 BTU under the dinette seating against the bulkheads, cooling the fwd cabin and dinette. But for the AFT cabin unit (a smaller one) the location us challenging. I plan to use it during the night also, so noise is an issue.
A solution can be in the bilge locker in front of the stove, but my doubt is about the positioning and routing of air inlet and outlet.
Any advice or pictures?

Hi I have the 16BTU under the dinette by the bulkhead cooling the whole boat. Not the most efficient way, but it works OK at night I use additional fans to help air circulation
Cheers

I have a 7000 btu unit in the bilge between the main engine and the stove/cooker. One outlet in the aft cabin (we have only the one large cabin aft. It blows out of a duct coming out of the bulkhead aft of the stove, and the return is thru a grate on the step down into the aft cabin on the stbd side.
My wife doesn't like the noise either, but she can handle the A/C. It is the genset that she really doesn't like.
