Regarding my 2008 Jeanneau 49i -
My panel display has been constantly failing recently.
It started with ignoring the existence of the engine battery sometimes (showing only the domestic), continued with showing that one of the water tanks is empty even though it was full, and now it is showing as if the fuel tank is empty.
Any ideas?

That is not a good sign. With the old analog stuff or rotating dials you could often fix problems by exercising them (remember when banging the side of a TV would actually work in getting a clearer image?). But the digital displays have different failure modes. If the cause isn't a loose connection, which you could check by wiggling all the cables in the back of the display and looking for corrosion, then it is the electronics. When those start to go it is often cheaper to replace than to repair them. Often the problem is just old capacitors on the boards drying out, they cost $0.10 to replace but hours of expert labour to locate the right one, desolder it and replace it.
But your problem looks to be a on/off one. This could really be just loose or corroded connectors for the sensors.

Thank you!
I have looked at the lines which seem to be OK, but I will have a deeper look in.
