Hi, Looking at installing tv in SO 34.2 in front of mast post between vee berth door and the 2 cupboards on the starboard side above the settee. As the boat is 1500 klm away at the moment was hoping a SO 34.2 owner could help out with a measurement between vee berth door and cupboard? The boat has performed beautifully up the East Coast of Australia and love it with a passion!!

I'm due to visit my SO34.2 "on the hard" next weekend and will try to remember to do this - wife is after me to put a TV in our boat.

The spacing between the moulding around the passageway to the vee berth and the moulding about the top of the forward side cabinet is 64 cm or 25". This is the dimension I would not exceed, were I fitting a TV (which my wife continues to urge me to do).

Many thanks for that. Decided to go for a 19 inch LCD. It fits in nicely with the DVD (its a combo) on the port side and all connections and cables on starboard side. Its seems well balanced size wise plus plenty of room to get at connections. Cheers makemyday

I, too, am contemplating a TV with DVD built-in. Prices have become more attractive, but I have a feeling that, as Blu-Ray moves forward, the disc player-equipped units may become scarce for a while.
