The specs say 74 gallons. Does anyone know the tank capacity in real life usage? Our last boat was a Key West 239 DFS with a specified 100 gallon tank, but actual capacity was about 90 gallons due to the tank vent configuration.

i don't have a 795, but i did have a 895 and was getting conflicting reports on the tank size. Finally I opened the hatch to look at the manufacturers tag and it has the actual capacity of the tank. I used the rule of thumb of 90% is usable due to the pick up being off the bottom of the tank and movement of gas within the tank. The tag is mandatory. The size was 81 gallons (times 2) which was different than the info. from Jeanneau.

Taking bluedart’s suggestion, I found the answer to my question.
The sticker on the gas tank on my 795 S2 says it is aluminum, manufactured by ACGB in France, capacity 275 liters (=72.65 gallons). So, not quite as large as the published boat spec. For actual use, I guess I will use a 58 gallon working capacity, which is about 80% of the tank size. 10% for any reduced capacity due to venting configuration, and a 10% fuel reserve.
I like almost everything about the boat, but I do wish the tank was about 15 gallons larger, similar to the Beneteau Antares 7.
