Sadly a persistent shoulder injury is forcing us to give up sailing and move to power.
Our beloved Jeanneau 43DS is being sold through Creo yacht brokers in Greece but delivery to any Med marina is potentially possible.
FG is a 2004, highly spec’d boat that includes in-mast furling, 3 electric winches, air conditioning, Victron smart electric system, bow thruster, All new True Design Through hulls, just to mention a few; Most importantly she has full EU VAT paid tax credentials.
PM me if you would like to chat or talk to Matt at Creo.

(comment; The output of these solar panels will generally restore the batteries to a full charge by lunchtime even with the fridge left running 24/7)
Ample 13 amp sockets in all cabins supplied from shore power or inverter.
A secondary stand alone 600 watt inverter in aft cabin
Engine & Fuel
Upgraded 75HP turbocharged Yanmar Diesel with approx 1,700 hours.
Varifold 3 blade feathering prop.
Original fixed 3 blade prop stored in cockpit locker
Single 200 lt fuel tank
inline ‘Fuel Guard’ fuel polisher and water trap prior to primary fuel filter.
At approximately 1800 rpm the engine will return 5kts using around 2.7 lts per hour. Giving a theoretical range of 370 nms.
At higher revs the boat will achieve 8kts but with obvious increase in fuel burn. However, figures suggest that overall the fuel burn (mpg) is only marginally decreased.
Gerry cans for an emergency fuel reserve of 40 lts (75 nms) stowed in cockpit locker.
(Data derived for actual daily readings for boat).
The ‘owners’ version of the 43DS is a perfect Med live abroad, long distance cruiser or as a short/long term holiday boat.
Her 2m draft gives excellent stability whilst allowing stern to berthing in the vast majority of greek harbours.
The addition of air conditioning keeps onboard temperatures to very pleasing levels even in the hottest summers despite her light and airy design.
Electric winches make her easy to handle single crew.
Inmast main and large genoa give her a good performance in the lightest of winds (3.5kts of true wind will give almost 2kts of ground speed) but easy to reef when the wind picks up. We have handled up to 35kts of wind with no drama.
Top speed we attained was 9.9kts.
She has been our summer home for ten years in which time we have sailed her extensively in the Ionian and through the Corinth canal to Athens, Mykinos and beyond. We will be sad to part company but it is time for us to move onto new adventures.
She is EU VAT qualified but (by arrangement) can be returned to the UK VAT qualified under Return of Goods Relief scheme.
Her outbound voyage from Brighton to Greece took just 24 sailing days.
