Hi, has anybody an idea where this loose connector (1) needs to go? Probably (2) ? Also is this the drainage for the fresh water coolant? Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedThank you! Cheers Thomas

Not sure about the loose connector, but the other pictures do show the fresh water coolant drains. On my 3GM30, there are such drains on both sides of the engine.

Does anybody have a picture of his 3JH5E taken from the starboard side through the inspection port (like my first picture in this thread)?
I could compare it to mine then.
Thank you

Hi, Here is a picture of the starboard side of a 3jh5e of a 41DS, with an SD50 SD. I can't really tell from the picture what the connector shape is or looks like or the colors of the wires. The #2 you have circled on the first picture is a plug Yanmar installs in the block to cover an alternate dipstick hole. Sometimes they popout, so give it an eyeball when you check the oil. Regarding the other 2 pictures, those would be the coolant drains for the block. You should have 2 of them on that motor. When you take the cap off of the heat exchanger and open those valves, the coolant will drain out.

It seems that on my side two connectors leave the black plastic hose. I will investigate further!
