Hi All, There is a nice (bad) amount of play in the steering wheel forward and back (not when turning left and right). I pulled the compass out and noticed a couple of things. The below image and red highlighted section is the cause of the play. The below bush was around the shaft between the section with the play and the sprocked for the steering chain/cable setup. I also noticed that the teethed sprocket can be pushed foward almost off the teeth on the shaft. When I push the wheel forward the gap reduces and the play also reduces, still not really a nice snugg fitting. Should there be a bolt with the green highlighted section or should the red highlighted section be undone and slid aft to stop the wheel moving forward and back. Also, is that bush I pulled off (its split) the spacer to stop the sprocket from moving to far forward or is the bush supposed to go forward (act as a bearing( to eliminate the play in the steering wheel shaft? Thanks again in advance! Cheers, nic
