Hi all,
Wondering what the process is to remove the port lights in the hull, I’ve removed the inside cover. Should the port light then be able to be pushed from inside to the outside? Or is there another bracket that holds the port light too the hull?
From what I can see it doesn’t look like it is being held with another bracket but want to be certain before I put force onto it.
The brand on the port light is Gebo.
Cheers, Nic

Managed to figure this out, port light removed successfully, cleaned, resealed and fitted. When in inner was removed I had to use a razor blade to cut the previous bonding sealant, then push the acryl from the inside with someone on the outside to grab the portlight.
For anyone else in the future that is attempting this, the Gebo is a three (3) part portlight.
The outter(outsidee the hull) and middle (the acylic/alloy) is joined together but does not provide any clamping force to the hull. The inner (what you see from inside the boat) frame is what you use to screw and tighten the outter and inner peices together which provides strength and sealing (requires allot of marine bonding/sealant).
