Hi everyone and thanks for creating this forum! I’m a new owner of a 2017 NC11, in southern British Columbia, Canada. We are currently two days into our first short cruise, and just figured out how to get power to the windlass! Looking forward to learning lots more from the people here.

Perhaps you found it already, but power at the windlass is only when the switches of the engines are ‘on’ . Than you can control from the helm or from the anchor locker panel. Not very logic but it is as it is………
One advice, secure the chain with a rope/wire when not used, the risk of using the wrong button at the helm during cruising is high and you don’t want an emergency stop because of unforeseen anchor dropping ✋

Thanks Hanzel good advice! We knew we would need the engine running but didn’t get the windlass working until we located a switch in the under-floor compartment that needed to be turned on. Windlass now working fine! Still struggling with the holding tank though. Have not figured out how to get the macerator working. Depressing the wall button doesn’t do anything ie no sound from the pump.

Yes thanks! I have a copy of that manual and have checked breaker 24, which is normal. So I think there must be something else I’m missing.
