Hi all, We received our new NC 895 Sport in May and took it out for its first overnight trip. When we got to the new marina, we had a slip that required us to dock on the port side of boat. This was the first time we docked port side, which was not as big a problem as we thought. What was a problem wasthat the discharge outlet for our grey water, the sinks and shower, is so high up on the hull that the discharge went onto the dock. Has anyone come up with a way to deal with this? Thanks, Eric

Hi Eric, welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new boat. A great delivery time for the summer and you must have had some good runs by now.
With the Grey water discharge, I would suggest that a simple solution is to hang a flat foam cushion fender strategically to deflect the water down instead of over the dock. You don’t want to give away too much information on what you had for dinner.
An extra fender is always a good idea, and the flat ones have the advantage of not rolling along the hull, especially if the jetty has piles, and doubles up as a seat cushion when not in use as a fender.

The fender idea worked great and it's easy (or not worth it) to clean. We were blasting shower water onto the low docks in Friday Harbor. Roche harbor's otherwise too high docks were great.
