When my NC1095 is full of fuel the motor tips rest in the water even when fully tilted up. Is this normal? wondering if they should be mounted a little higher. Thanks.

I have experienced the same issue on the two Jeanneau boats I have/had owned (NC895 and Leader 9.0 WA). It is related to the tilt trim limit. You should verify that the motors are set to the highest limit (assuming you have clearance) with a Yamaha mechanic (if you have Yamahas). If so you have to live with it. There are some u tubes videos and tutorials on how to adjust the tilt limit yourself but I have not done it.
The motor height adjustment is not for adjusting the tilt limit of the motor. Unless you are experiencing speed, trim, prop blow out problems typically associated with motors set too high or low I would not fool with it. The factory is pretty good a setting up a boat and it most likely at the optimal height.
I do find my boat is a bit stern heavy with twin 250 yamahas, two 4 D batteries and a group 31 generator battery all in the aft most compartment under the motor well. The generator is also aft of midship. I was thinking of putting the batteries on a diet by going lithium which could save me 150LBS at the stern but I just replaced the batteries and they were expensive enough. Converting to Lithium requires new chargers and a DC to DC charger set up. This was too big an undertaking during the boating season.
Depending on where and the number of batteries you have you may be able to transfer weight from the stern by moving the batteries more forward or loss some weight by converting to Lithium when the time comes to replace them.
All this for a few inches of the lower units in the water. It does bother me every time I tilt them out of the water and freshwater flush them.
