My rudder feedback linkage has disappeared in the bowels of my 2012 439. Can anyone confirm the model of the rudder feedback controller? Any chance anybody has a picture of a 2012 era linkage? I can see the ball on the controller arm, but am unsure the method of attachment of the rudder end.

On my B&G model it's just a ball stud that screws onto the rudder sensor arm and the rod snaps onto the ball.

I did move the unit to the side about 1 cm because the factory location was too close to a bulkhead. This caused the arm to press against the bulkhead when rudder was full over. That caused the rod to bend and the unit would under-read the rudder angle. If yours is installed the same way, that could explain why the rod disconnected… pressed against bulkhead too many times?
