The hatch over the main saloon is opened facing forward and can only be opened a tiny bit as it catches in the kicker sheets and blocks.has anybody else this problem, also is it possible to turn the hatch around the opposite way.that is to say are the bolt holes in the same position to allow this to be done. nac.

Hi Nac, Another one of those silly not thought thru factory jobs, I'm sure Jeanneau do these little irritating things just to keep us fiddling on our boats. I have on our 32SO a rigid vang and brought the main sheeting to the front of the boom as that too went over the hatch, now I can open the hatch up all the way.....as it should have been in the first place. Most hatch's have a frame hole pattern that can be turned around 180 degrees, you can quickly line up the holes by eye or a straight edge before ripping it all apart. Have fun which ever way you go.
