We’re tired of the pile of of halyards, in-hauls, out haul etc. lying on the coach roof inside the dodger. Any suggestions for bags or hooks with photos please? Thanks

We created a rope bag/companionway seat by installing a stainless cross rail in the companionway 12" aft of the doorboard lip and the same height as the lip. We sewed a removable rope bag that slings between the cross rail and the doorboard lip, where we installed 3 button clips. We added a fiberglass seat over the bag opening which swivels with clasps on the cross rail and rests on the companionway lip. All cabintop lines store in this bag. This upgrade has been copied by 2 other 379/389's in our marina.

We added two SS cross bars (port & starboard) and hang the lines with Nite-Eze rubberized twist ties.

Jeanneau sometimes included line bags with the 379/409. They looked like this I think:

We mounted four on each side of the companionway and the lines hang nicely.

We have the window there like the file photo so the line bags may be an option. We don’t have a crossbar on the dodger, so that option is probably out. Thanks all!
