I am going wild on improving everything with Acrylic or Polycarbonate material. I am currently replacing the windows of our SO37 and also want to install a splash back plate made of Perspex (10mm). However Jeanneau parts are expensive so I want to make this myself. I made a design and want to machine cut it. So if anyone needs the same, or slightly different version, let me know! I can deliver you the DXF. These are the clamps I have in mind. I am still in doubt if these are nice. Any tips are welcome!

May I suggest the material you decide to use for the backsplash have an anti-abrasive coating? Unprotected PMMA scratches. Also, I suggest you round the top of your brackets vs 90 degrees to prevent them from digging into the PMMA material.

The supports for the jeanneau backsplash are higher (15 cm). Once installed you will see that someone will use it as a handhold in an emergency so more support is perhaps better?

Thanks you for the feedback. I decided to engineer the backsplash as sitara suggested. I changed the brackets to the ones sitara suggested and made an extrusion for the brackets so the panel will be flush. Also I made an opening for cleaning underneath

Very nice job.
Aside from the color of the throw pillows, that could be my SO35.
