Proud owner of a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45. Earlier this month we sailed her from St. Pete FL to Jacksonville stopping in Key West for 2 nights. Really amazing experience and learned a lot about the boat. Plenty broke of course. I can provide a list but really I'm amazed with how well everything went. It's so nice to be confident that you can handle 30kt winds and 10ft waves like we encountered in the gulf stream near Ft Lauderdale. List of all the issues in descending order of importance: Main Sheet Block bails seem to fail very easily. Need a solution, aluminum backing plate or drill through the top of the boom Aft Head started to leak (was expecting this), wet exhaust just after mixing elbow cracked and started to leak (now fixed) engine room blower failed on the last day (fixed) jib tack shackle failed and was lost (had a spare) yanmar 4jh4-te alternator belt broke windlass breaker popped (scary when it happened as we couldn't find it, turns out it is located on the starboard side of the aft berth) But after all that it doesn't matter. The journey was epic and most everything has been fixed. What a massive joy it is to be cruising along at 10kts knowing you'll be at your next anchorage well before sunset.
