I purchased a MF795 Series 2 this summer and both my saloon side windows have leaked water. The dealer and Jeanneau have conducted a repair which l consider is inadequate- digging out half of the sealant and replacing. They also do not want to provide me with an sort of extended guarantee. Very disappointed.

Leaking windows on Merry Fisher is an ongoing issue for years unchanged. Many people including me have had leaking windows in new built boats. So dont be disappointed. After the intervention of the dealer, leaking should have stopped and there wont be any leak again. They should reseal it if it did not work. Most of the time the sealing done by the factory is faulty. It is thin on some places and or have air pockets left inside. Glass may make a small movement when you push. One last thing to check may be the sealent around the screws up on the cabin roof. Paris knows about the window leakage problem very well. It seems they dont have control over their factories.

Hi, Is that leaking from top/bottom or from left/right side of the window? I've realized that the cockpit side windows are not sealed on the side opposite to the opening handle. There is a brush like stopper there, not rubber and it allows water to enter when the water is pushed to that direction (parallel to the ground). I realized it when I was washing the boat. I never had leakage during the rain as it does not rain horizontally Just wanted to check if we have the same issue.
