Actuator switch problem with Prestige 34

Hello,
We have a problem with our old Prestige 34, which has an intermittent fault with the actuator switch for the port engine. Most of the time, pressing the switch button, lights up green on both engines and away we go. But, occasionally, there is no response for the port engine. No red light, or green, and the engine is unresponsive. I assume this is an electrical fault of some kind, but has anyone had this issue, and knows where I should start to try and fix it?
