Propshaft packing question

Greetings all:

I have a problem with leaking propshaft seal. I had the packing replaced a couple years ago and it leaks....alot.
I took it apart and found four wraps of flax. I suspect that the yard used 1/4" packing which I believe is too small. 5/16" appears to be too big. I believe that I need (and would love to find a source for) teflon packing material in metric sizes.

Problem is solved. The yard did it fact use a packing material that was undersized. I repacked using a teflon impregnated 5/16" packing material. Three layers with the joints 180 degrees apart should solve the problem. We'll know when the boat is re-launched.
