My current stainless prop on my 795 got banged up a bit last week (d**n unmarked rock outcropping in 7.5’ of water!) and I need to take it to a prop shop to get fixed. Only issue is they’re currently looking at a 2 week turnaround time, and I cant lose 2 weekends of boating! I’d like to pickup a temporary/backup aluminum prop.
I have a 14.5” diameter, 14 pitch stainless yamaha reliance prop currently. It runs well, but I’m having a hard time finding an aluminum alternative in those dimensions. Should I be looking for a different dimension in aluminum vs steel? Any tips on what may work well in aluminum?

Easy for me to spend your money, but at this time props are in short supply (at least in my area) so i would get a SS prop used or on ebay or a shop that has them in stock and resell when you the original prop is fixed. Get an non manufacturer prop (Michigan or Solas). you can then use same or similar size.
its a big boat with a single engine to run aluminum prop.
