NC11 (or any Volvo I/O powered boat) Engine Flush System

Hi - has anyone installed a fresh water engine flush system in their NC11 or in any boat with a Volvo inboard/outboard drive? Volvo's Neutra-salt system seems overly complex.   A modified cap for the raw water strainer with a hose fitting seems like the easiest approach if such a thing were available as is for other strainers.  Has anyone found or fabricated one?  Welcome other ideas of course.  Thanks!
