In the stringers under the engine of the Jeanneau NC9 (and perhaps other NCs), there are these large holes that look like they are meant to provide access to the engine mounting bolts. However, these holes also mean that water can enter the stringers without any meaningful ability to get out. The stringers are higher than the aft bilge, but due to their sealed nature, there's a pool of stagnant water just below the height of the hole that fills the entire inside of the stringer. The blue arrows represent where the water lives, and the red circle is where the water enters. Has anyone else run into this problem? Do you have thoughts on getting the water out?
