Hi to All, new to this forum. A MF795 série2 will shortly replace my former MF725. Can anyone tell me if a 8kg KOBRA anchor is mechanically adapted to the new boat as it is? (the shipyard sends me back to the dealer to answer, and the dealer says we don't know, "you must try it". Anyone has used it on a 795? And by the way, any recommandation for a junction chain/anchor available on the market? Thanks in advance

It probably depends upon the bottom of the sea bed where you use your anchor and lenght of chain. Generally speaking I think an 8 kg is a bit small in weight for 795, but may be convinient for manual use. Personally I would not go less than 10 and with windlass. The factory puts 12 kg. The boat is about 3000 kg with gear and liquids. If there are persons on board you may even go up.

Thanks ihsan for you comment. I think I will go for a ten kg anchor as we are often quite many on board.
