I have an hydraulic steering on my 895 SPORT build in Poland with Lecomble & Schmitt. If you ever have to install an autopilot you will need to connect your autopilot to the existing hydraulic lines. The one fitted by Jeanneau comes with T's in order to make this a smooth and easy job........that is if you can find them! Instead of being at the end of the conduit leading to the transom they are mid way between the helm and the transom, making the connection not smooth and easy. So in case you look for it here they are! CABINETHIDE OUTFOUND IT!It certainly won't have costed anything to put them at the back of the line where they come out of the conduit. I'll create post to tell you the story about accessing the wheel pump to fill the hydraulic fluid, this is REALLY WORTH a post of its own!

Thanks for the info. Also thinking of upgrading to Auto pilot.
I'm just guessing here, but are these T's to connect the second helm position?

I have a 2022 895 Sport on order. It supports the latest Yamaha Helm Master EX with Autopilot thanks to the new 2021 Yamaha OBs with Electric steering support.
On my current 795, the boat has a dealer fitted Garmin autopilot via SeaTech Hydraulic steering system. It has the following known issues:
(1) At low speed, if AP is engaged, it is possible you lost manual steering control completely. Myself and other owners have reported this condition in other threads on this forum.
(2) Forget to disengage AP when docking, the boat’s manual steering might lock up. I think this is related to (1)
I hope the all new electrical steering and AP for the 2022 model year does not have these two problems.

I tried to order my boat with Helmmaster Ex or at least the Digital Electrical Steering units. That was not possible for some unknown reasons.
In addition the pre-mounted electrical steering only comes on the 250 and 300 from mid 2022 in europe. I understand US will start getting them this year.
One good news is that my 2021 will come with the helm master ex DEC unit and the CL5 screen.
So I'm trying to find out what the extra cost of retro-fitting the DES is compared to the Garmin Reactor 40 AP.
No dealer seams to care at all about the HMEX system. They say this is intended for US. 🤮

No they are used to create a loop between the main hydraulic lines and the autopilot drive. Im sure they can be used for the AP. Agreed. My point was since they placed the T's in a strange location, that might be the reason behind it. I (tried) to upload a . Don't know if it worked. Edit: did not work. Now if you do have one and can’t fit an AP unless cutting the hoses. Thanks for the pics
