Congratulations!
We bought our SO32 from Westways last year, and have been very happy with her. Westways are good to deal with, and have resolved all the minor problems which are inevitable with a new boat (see SO32 thread)
We opted to keep the boat in Plymouth, and last season had some great weekends cruising in the local area. Cawsand is very convenient and a good anchorage, although it can get busy in the summer. Newton Ferrars is lovely, although again busy at peak times. During the week is is usually OK.

Congratulations J&T. Last November I bought my first new boat (after a couple of second-hand) and she was a SO37!
no major problems, even because since then I spent most of the time just living the boat like a van rather than sailing. Just one advice. have a look at the right sink unloading. I found mine not properly unloading, even better, not unloading at all if not "started" by a stroke on sink-hole. I guess it's due by a curve that the hose makes to pass the drawer and go down. I suspect this can be a design problem.
btw. my first boat was an english boat named SABRE27 that I sold due to the fact she became small. In fact after two summer vacation in a row we got back with my wife pregnant. I sold the boat with all the cautions...

Thanks for the comments we did have the problem with the sink not unloading which we improved by re-routing the drain. we also had a water leak into the large V Storage in the front cabin, under the bed, I think it was coming in from the drain in the anchor locker. Westways were very quick to get the job sorted.
Any more comments very welcome
John
