Howdy Any one removed engine mounts on NC11?
Currently have Marine techs slowly working it out. A fair bit of head scratching and murmured swearing!
As usual no room on outboard sides of motors. Inboards mounts still very difficult to access thru the small hole, but seems doable.
Anyway if someone knows a tip, please share
TIA Nigel

Ok, so removal and fitting was very difficult. there is one hole for access, most likely the factory has a special tool. the techs drilled out another hole to allow them to get the socket onto the nut. Outside mounts are hard to access as they are close to sides. I used Isoflex mounts. Seem ok, certainly less vibration as the old ones were splitting at the top. The port engine used to rock a lot at idle. Boat is a 2011 model, I think the first into Oz as it was in the original tests. 500hrs Isoflex are about 1/4 the price of the Volvo Penta mounts. Cost AUD $750 for the 4 mounts., AUD $600 labour to fit. see link www.facebook.com/groups/168227517176009/permalink/704602980205124/
