My new NC 895 stern is sitting way too low in the water. The Yamaha engine brackets hydraulic pistons are under water and being damaged by marine growth and barnacles. Also the lower part end of the outboards are hitting the water and barnacles are growing on them . The dealer can not raise the engines up any further. Has anyone one else have the same major problem with their NC 895.

Hi Cruzin
Welcome to the forum. It you could provide a picture showing the position of the stern in the water it would be useful. I’d also be curious to know what optional items You have on the boat such as a generator. And then also what you have stowed or installed in particular aft such as a folded life raft in the cockpit locker. Also you probably looked but please confirm there is not water in the bottom of the hull. My 895 is not typical in that I have a single F300 rather than twins. Just twins alone add approx 400 lbs. That by itself isn’t an issue but if there is a lot of additional options and accessories it can add up.

Good Day, My NC 895 was purchased off the lot when the boat arrived at the dealer. It has twin 200 Yamaha's A/C and a generator as ordered by the dealer. I do not have any addition weight at the stern. It does have a roof rack, radar and tv installed, that is all. The outboard engine tilt and trim brackets are 75% under water , the four (2x2) tilt pistons seals are under water and barnacles/ marine growth are damaging this area. The lower units of the outboards are also hitting the water and have been trimmed up to the maximum. It appears that there is not enough flotation/buoyance at the rear of the boat to support the equipment that Jeanneau has installed. If the boat had only one engine , no A/C and no generator then it probably would float 5- 7 inched higher at the stern. This is currently a major problem that I am experiencing and have reached out to Jeanneau for a resolution.
