Does anyone know the anchor chain size of the 2021 NC 1095? Or, if you can confirm the windlass model as Lewmar V700, that’d be equally helpful.
Thanks in advance-

I don't know how to find chain size or model number. I can send you a pic of the windlass and a photo of the label on the motor on my 2020. Attachment Deleted

You need to find the number on the gypsy. The photo shows ours (002) on a 2019 nc895. Once you have this number you can look up the right rode/chain size. Attachment Deleted

5/16" or 8mm stainless works fine on my boat. The manual says 10mm, but it didn't work well.

Hi Out of interest did you find the 003 on your gypsy . I have a 1095 and mine looks identical and has the same motor part number but no references that I can see on the gypsy. Thanks Carl

Based on the Lewmar specs for compatible link size and diameter, I ordered 3/8” ISO G43 chain (also fits Campbell 3/8” S3, Lewmar 9.5 mm and 10 mm ISO). It can be easy to overlook but the 003 is stamped on the lower half of the gypsy (faces up), but you must spin the gypsy as it’s only in one place. I spun it a couple revolutions before I realized I had overlooked it. sdm

If you don’t mind me asking, how much anchor rode do you have in total and how much is chain ? I haven’t measured the length of anchor rode yet ( hoping to pull it all out this weekend) but being based in the Bristol channel we have a large tidal range and suspect I will probably need more than what was provided. We didn’t have Jeanneau build the boat with any rode or anchor. I have equipped it this week with a 35lb Delta plow along with 95 ft of 3/8” ISO (approx 150lbs) and 200 ft of 5/8” 3-strand line. Overall, it’s a bit overkill since we are inland lake boaters, but I don’t like dragging anchor when a summer thunderstorm and squall comes through...and it makes sleeping anchored out a bit more restful.

Happy to help...we need more contributing 1095 owners to help build value here. Now that our boat is actually here, hopefully we can do our part :-).
