We just received a Convertex Cockpit awning for our in NC895. There were no installation instructions. Has anyone installed one? It is the one that attaches to the aft side of the wheel house. It has two sets of support polls and a center piece that ties down to the aft seat. It does not retract.

i recommend the following:
attach the two straight pieces to the outer attachment points on the roof. The other end is a straight butt end that has a hole for the lock in snap of the two curved pieces.
Connect the two curved pieces together which makes a loop that goes over the rear seat and zippers into the canvas. also install the black canvas tie down strap with the loop end on the curved piece before step three.
Connect the now one curve piece to the straight pieces already installed. you now have the rear loop that frames the canvas
connect the two remaining straight pieces to the inner attachment points on the roof.
connect the outer ends of the inner supports (you just installed) to the attachment points on the curved frame. In total there are four attachment points on the roof and two on the curved section to the aft
The frame should now be self supporting and in the proper position
slide in the canvas in the track on the roof. i would do the long center portion and then the two sides.
pull the other end of the canvas to the curved section aft and zipper in the center. for the black tie down strap in the rear you have to put the loop end on the curved section ( you should have done above.
Zipper the end pieces of the canvas to the looped section of the frame.
i find you will have to push up on the frames with the canvas in place to fully zip the canvas in
I hope this helps.

I strongly recommend installing the canvas, the aft curved frame halves, and then the 4 supports. Installing the canvas on the frame prior to installing the supports is way easier to zip and easier to fit the frame symmetrically in the canvas. This is easier with two, but one person can hack it, or at least I did
