After getting my boat (2020 NC 795) detailed last week the black sun visor is now missing paint at the top of the windshield. Has anyone else run into this?

My 2019 895 has the same issue. It’s been submitted as a warranty item. As the decal is on the outside of the windshield glass and mostly sandwiched between the glass and the roof visor I don’t see see a simple solution. Other than tearing the boat apart a fix might be a decal on the inside of the glass to hide it. Will be interesting to see what jeanneau says.

My 2016 795 doesn’t have the wide black sun visor and I don’t know when they started doing that, but I don’t have any issues. The only fix I can see would be to pull the windshield to fix it. Or do as Lynn mentioned cover it up on the inside (I hope they wouldn’t go that route as it’s not a fix). There really is no real functional use as it’s not low enough to be a sun visor, so the only reason I can see for it would be to block the view of seeing the roof from the inside, although I don’t find it an issue.

Have you got an answer about the peeling black paint/decal on the windshield? I finally did today. I was told by Sundance that jeanneau is not covering this as under the warranty. This isn’t a good answer.

I have the same peeling thing an my 18 nc895. I am wondering if you tried the 4inch weather-stripping you were considering, and if so, is the look acceptable to you?

Hello, I'm considering buying a 2022 or 2023 NC 895 and am wondering if this problem has been resolved by Jeanneau. I looked at a used 2018 yesterday, and the problem was extremely unsightly. A real eyesore.
