Hi I’ve been looking at the NC795 and the 795 Sport and decided to forsake the fishing benefits of the sport for the cabin space of the NC 795.
so now that decision is made, Ive been trying to make the boat more fishable by having an after market live well installed on the swim step, and adding rocket launchers to the roof.
has anyone else tried this and are there any issues. My dealer seems to think this will work ok.
im also having the roof rack installed to carry paddle boards. As the rear of the roof slope upward, and with the rocket launchers being mounted, does anyone have any experience of how well the paddle boards may fit (11ft) without overhanging at the back?
finally I wanted to be able to tow a tube occasionally and I cannot find good information on whether this is possible or not. Perhaps fixing eyes to the transom, but is there enough room. Has anyone successfully found a solution for this.
thanks in advance for any tips

I’ve seen some videos for the NC895 with a little stainless steel bridge above the engines and it look like you could hook up a tube to that but I have not seen that option I wish somebody has done it would love to see a picture

I haven't tried it but it doesn't look completely crazy. This would be for towing a tube not very fast, not athletic water-skiing.

I almost bought a Beneteau Antares 23 and was going to add a ski pole that mounted to the engine. Looks like it would work with my NC 795.

Poor man's tubing behind our NC 795 today. Two dock lines, one on each rear cleat tied in a bowline knot with a small float at the knot. Then a tow line to the tube from there. Worked like a champ! The dock lines with the float stayed clear and above the prop.

(I assume, just wanting to make sure I'm not missing something.) (I have a teenage daughter who wants me to take her and her friends tubing in our NC795.)

I will have to measure them and get back to you, might be a day or two. Best guess is 12 to 15 feet.
The bowline knot contained both ropes and the float was attached there.
Full disclosure, I did get the lines around the prop yesterday but started out very slow and it was a non-event. Other then the few minutes it took to lift the engine and unwrap it.
