Salon table load testing... Today my grandson who weighs a bit over 30 lbs load tested the salon table. He put most of his weight on the edge of it. It failed. Fortunately he wasn’t hurt as the table crashed to the floor. All the screws pulled out of the wood where the upper metal housing section is screwed into the plywood table base that is below the upper table. . The Screws look Like they could have been a bit longer. So be warned. After seeing this I wouldn’t trust the table around adults either. It would be easy for an unthinking adult to lean hard and put this much Weight on it. I’ll post the repair Once it’s done. Capt’n Lynn Similar issue happened to me. The plywood is just not great. I am probably going to just have a decent carpenter build me a real wood table to replace the plywood. Fortunately, I was able to just flip the table over and drill in new screws, but I still think the plywood is garbage, and replacing it with a real wood table is worth it.

I'm not a range tug or cutwater fan when they are compared to the Jeanneau NC's, but they've got some nice dodads including the table that folds up to reveal a cocktail table with hand holds and cup holders.

I put one of these on my 1095. It looks great, and if installed in a certain spot it doesn't need to be relocated to slide the bench forward, or removed to open the locker in the floor. It's probably not as strong as a single piece table, so don't sit on the leaf! I like the look of the nautic star - it matches the Jeanneau logo nicely. www.marineteak.co.uk/nautic-star-fold-737
