Hi Vasko, I can't work out if this is intended for charter yachts or yachts as a whole, do you happen to know? Strange how they would limit the number of people on a motor yacht but not on a sailing yet?!?

Strange how they would limit the number of people on a motor yacht but not on a sailing yet?!? yep all is blurry at this stage... we will see when they publish the final document around 18th May... My personal plan is to comply with the heavy rules and have crew list - tempo metered everyday and no more then 4 people on board - we are usually 3 only and in my boat docs it has 8 for coastal waters...

It seems the difference is because, generally, motor boats can be licensed for more people. A 6m RIB can be lincesed for 12 people, a 6m sailing boat around 4.

Just received a call from IBA (one of the largest maintenance organisations in the area) saying Greece is doing its best to open for tourism from July.

Seems like a bit of positive momentum is developing in Greece. Just had the following....
1). As of today free movement within mainland and the island of Crete is allowed.
2). Lefkas is considered an island so the imposed restriction still applies.
3). All international flights only from and to Athens International Airport.
4). Non-EU citizens are not allow to enter Greece until 15/06/2020
5). EU citizens entering Greece are obliged to a mandatory 14-days quarantine (valid up to 31/05/2020).
6). No boats are allow to enter Greece (valid up to 31/05/2020)
