Guys, you think this need to be professionally fixed? Also, what's the best chemical to clean rust of the shrouds lie in the picture?

Spotless Stainless on the shrouds with wax afterward, but what the heck is with that sail? I would have a local sailmaker look at it either on the boat (preferred) or by taking it to their loft.

Yeah definitely take that sail in to your local sail loft.
That is quite a lot of corrosion on your shrouds! Corrosion down inside the fitting like that, left unchecked, will lead to failure. In future try not to let it get that bad. More frequent fresh water rinses would be good.

It might have been folded badly when being furled into the mast. What I use for rust on the shrouds like that is Star Clean with an old toothbrush to get into the nooks and crannies, the stuff was recommended to me a couple of years back by a rigger and I've been using it to combat rust since then. It is now available in the USA at West Marine and other chandlers (it is originally made in Germany). It doesn't take much elbow grease and prevents rust from coming back longer than other products I've used. I used Spotless Stainless a while back on rusted bolts and was pleasantly surprised at the outcome, but I would be a bit wary of having some slide down into the pressure fitting and maybe do something in the dark crevices that I wouldn't like.

Just ordered it on Amazon, thank you.
