With over 7000 members now on this forum I am sure we have some great graphic artists out there.... As part of my long term hope to assemble as much of the early Jeanneau history (especially before 1995 when Bénéteau acquired control, as there is already plenty of information post 1995) I have found a very poor image of what I suspect is the first logo, which reflects the sporting prowess of Jeanneau in the early days. www.23hq.com/Jeanneau/photo/54210155/originalThe logo cleverly incorporates onto a globe, the chequered flag backed by the French Tricolor plus the Jeanneau name being highlighted with 6 countries: Greece, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, UK, Belgium and the Netherlands - Anyone able to explain why just 7 countries ? I am guessing it might be to do with one of Henry's early race successes such as the 6 heures de Paris. Anyway back to the graphics project, hopefully there are is at least one volunteer who might rise to the challenge to recreate it ...below is my own - extremely crude - attempt to clean it up a little. I am sure many could do a much better job.... If we can get it redrawn at a good resolution, I plan to get some enameled pin badges made up if there is interest and demand. Many thanks in anticipation Malcolm
