Hello,
I am the owner of a SO42DS (2006) in France. I have a small leak in the little cupboard in front of the chart table (port side).
I am not sure but I suspect a leak under the jib rail.
I do not know how to disassemble the different pieces of wood (cupboard ...) in order to access to the bolt under the rail ?
Does someone know how to access to this area under the deck ?
Regards
Jean-Philippe

If it's not the side window (let's hope not), then it's probably from one of the stanchions, mid-cleat or the genoa track. I would start there 1st before you tear the cabinet out, which I have never done. Hopefully, it's a caulking problem outside on the deck.

Hello Jean-Philippe Above the shelf there are small boards as cladding. These are only screwed together and can be easily removed from below. Then you have access to the underside of the deck. The same goes for the bathroom.
On this occasion I also checked all screws of the genoa rail. There were several not tightened firmly.
Good luck.

Thank you Brent,
Yes, I have also a problem with the side window. I read the topics on this and I don't know yet how I will proceed (myself or not). For the moment, I put some adhesive tape and I am sure to have another leak.
Thank you Uwe for your help. I will check on my boat (Easter) if I can unscrew just above the cupboard.
Regards Jean-Philippe
