Hi folks. I'm having another look at adding a cruising chute to Affinity. I've found the company Karver in France that have some really good prices on furling systems. Just wondering if anyone out there has used or has knowledge of this system and company. www.kmnautisme.com/en/kf-furler/547-emmagasineur-karver-kf2.htmlThanks Ian

I am actually waiting for a quote on a Karver furler, however I was warned in advance that they are quite a bit more expensive than the Harken, Selden and Profurl systems I have already been quoted on. Apparently they are nice units but you pay a premium for them, at least around here.

Zaphod,
The link is to the cheapest place I’ve found. Ian

When buying a roller, make sure it can be used (or adapted) for both code zero's and top down furling sails.

It looks like that link is for the swivel and drum with no torsion rope, whereas the other major players include the torsion rope, which is a big additional cost, so make sure you are comparing apples to apples.
As far as I know most top down furler drums can also be used as bottom up with code zeros.
