The only non-LED light on my boat seems to be the down facing spreader light for illuminating the foredeck. I’m alone on the boat right now and can’t get up the mast to look at the type/size. Does anyone know the spec so I can order an LED replacement for a friend to bring down? I’m hoping that it is some standard PAR bulb that can easily be replaced by LED. Thanks

I had our rigger replace ours with an LED...I've just sent her an email to ask what she used. I'll let you know as soon as I hear. Cheers.

Thanks. I was hoping that a par spec would fit! Time for a quick upgrade.

I just replaced mine on J57 with the original equipment replacement: www.optolamp.com.br/english/index.php/produtos/marine-led-lighting-interior-lights/item/113-spreader-led-light-500-plus.htmlThe dealer was NAUTOS USA. Note that the voltage spec by the manufacturer is 10-30V. Some of the distributers say it is 10-15V, but they are wrong as far as I can tell. Why would a small manufacturer create a second part with a narrower voltage spec- makes no sense. I ordered anyway and sure enough they showed up 10-30V. I replaced the units, but they did not work. There was no relay installed (ETA TR 200 ...) No spare, but a swap lit them up just fine. Now I'm trying to source that relay with no luck so far.
