If they used the same system as the sailboats of that era, I would look to see if there are screws on the most outboard of the ceiling panels nearest to the windows. If there are no screws or screw covers, the outer edge may have HD velcro.
Once you loosen the outboard panel it is tabbed under the next panel, as they are thin plywood panels. You should then see hidden screw's for the next panel across. You just then keep going up to the centre panels.
But as I said this is the typical sailboat system...
Good luck

Thanks for the tips, but there are no screws. I was told that the plates have to be removed in a certain order as just one is mounted with velcro, the rest is screwed on. I would need to know the appropriate order .... Enjoy, Torsten

Good luck,

Thanks on advance, Torsten On the 36 the panels are held on with an Industrial Velcro. Very good holding power but a pain to remove. Start by working slowly along one edge and once it starts your on the way. The Velcro type material is best described as a double hook system rather than a hook and loop. Good luck Napoleon

Good luck Napoleon Thanks Napoleon, you are right, the Velcro sticks like hell. But it not all panels are fixed just with Velcro, most are screwed and you can only access the screws if you remove the right panel before.... I already scraped one panel because thought it was attached with Velcro. So I am still waiting for a hint where to start ... Enjoy the calm days !

How sure are you that they are screwed? I would think not but either way it should be easy to figure out where to start. Start around the windows and/or aft opening and pry something without sharp edges and try to take it down. The velcro will "snapp" a little as it is coming loose.
If it's screwed and you are not using to much leverage you won't be able to get them down, I used the back side of a teaspoon just to give you an idea of the force needed to part the velcro.
