I believe a very big THANK YOU is in order to Andrew and Vlad for doing this.
The forward end of your cabin (vanity unit) looks very different to mine.... I will check again when onboard (hopefully in the next 12 hours) just waiting for the taxi to airport.
If I can find a source in Greece I intend to make something up out of light weight foam board. I only need to divide the cabin for around one week a year when I have mixed (single) guests onboard to save using the salon seating as a bed. Will PM you when back home for further contact details and download info.
PS are you still up in Croatia or back down in the Ionian??

OK, guys, I have a WORD file for you to explain how it all goes together and will try and attach the file to this message since it is a fraction under the 1 MB limit . The detailed drawings are about to follow, just doing a bit of fine tuning. But I am sure to need individual email addresses for that (tks Brian/"Wheelsucker" for yrs) and you can send these to me by PM. Andrew "Genial Bee" Andrew. That is an interesting read. It is not relevant to us as we have a 45DS but I note that Vlad is kitting his boat out to be ‘electric’. We are now predominantly electric and very rarely use gas. If he would like to contact me, I am sure that I could offer some advice (from experience, not professional) about setting the boat up. Thanks for his, and your, time and efforts for others. Dave

Thanks to Andrew and Vlad for their efforts. Files received from Andrew and money happily contributed to Vlad's refit efforts since I know that creating the drawings took some work.

to DSLittle,
Dave, tks yr message. I almost bought a 45ds but decided to charter one first and eventually decided to go for the 43ds.
If you can PM me w yr email addr i will put you in touch w Vlad. He even wants to change his old engine for electric but i do not know where he is intending to put all the solar in order to charge up his batteries. I suspect he will need to invest in Li ion batteries since traditional PB or AGM are unlikely to have the capacity as well as a water generator of some sort for while he is sailing. He already was thrown out the oven and put in a washing machine and electric hob plus he has an electric o/b.
He is offering to do all sorts of design work if there are any Jeanneau owners interested. Maybe i will put this on another thread.
Andrew

Andrew Andrew, Thank you thank you very much. I know that this is something quite a few DS43 owners have wanted. Now we shall see if there is a way we can find someone locally who might be able to fabricate something like this .
Will be sending you my email in a PM - Fair winds

Hi Andrew,
The front end of my aft cabin around the engine compartment (owners version) is slightly different and the dividers will prevent me from getting at the battery switches and breakers for anchor, electric winches, etc.,
I will send you my email address via a PM but to be honest and don't really want to start modifying the woodwork to make these fit.
Other owners of this version should bear this in mind.
