Hi All, The above mentioned mast and boom is on a Jeanneau 54 DS. I have problem changing the in mast furling line which some of the Allen key bolts have seized. Anyone has any idea if the spars are manufactured by Z Spars or Spar Craft? Any instructions / manual available online for the replacement? (Still trying to figure out how to upload pics as there are no options to pull from Win Explorer) Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for the reply.
I have already emailed Marechal and see if they have any instructions available. Cheers.

If you have the Z Spar system, there was a great article posted on this forum about pulling out the mast furler and servicing it. We just did it and replaced the ring bearing. It's pretty easy other than dealing with any seized fasteners. I ended breaking one of the allen bolts off and had to drill it out, tap the hole with a larger thread and install a larger allen bolt. That aside, the job went really smooth. If you are doing this with the mast rigged, remember to use a halyard to hold the furler tube up so it doesn't fall down when you pull the furler mechanism out. Here's the link to the article. www.jeanneau-owners.com/hintsandtips/furlinglinereplacement.html

I have a SO 54 DS with in mast furling from Marechal mast. I have some issues with furling the main and I also need to service the drum and check the tension of the inner swirling profile.
Does anyone have a Marechal furling mast service manual or any kind of brochure regarding this mast?
